41A Drift Retardant
Spray Drift is an ever-increasing concern to farmers, neighbours, commercial applicators, the general community, government agencies and regulators. Due to this demand for safer application of chemicals, we have seen a plethora of tools and technologies on the market, all claiming to help reduce spray drift. Each on their own is not a “cure all”, but when used in combinations with suitable application techniques, significatant reductions in downwind fines can be achieved. 41-A® is a liquid adjunctive whose active constituent is a long chain polymer, which imparts the properties of elasticity and viscosity to the spray mix. These properties combine to reduce the number of droplets of driftable size produced when passed through application equipment.
